Survey: 78% of national security experts see AI boosting cyber defense, humans the bottleneck

A survey by IST on AI and national security finds: 78% of respondents believe AI will ultimately improve cyber defense and 73% say it will speed up intelligence analysis. The biggest gaps against AI threats are response speed (59%) and bureaucracy (48%). Humans' ability to keep pace with AI is seen as the biggest bottleneck to safely integrating AI into military domains.
