hostely: open-source Apple-native CLI self-hosts containers, Metal LLMs and HTTPS in one tool
ayo_ham · x · 2026-09-06
Developer Ayoub HAMD open-sourced hostely, an Apple-native self-hosting CLI that unifies the local stack: runs OCI containers via Apple's container runtime (no Docker), serves GGUF models with full Metal speed via bundled llama.cpp, exposes services with HTTPS/DNS/tunnels (no ngrok), and reports real unified-memory headroom before you OOM. Built as a response to YC's 'own your own intelligence' pitch.
