Astra simulates entire Senate office complex with a multi-agent synthetic Congress
deanwball · x · 2026-09-06
Tim Hwang showcased Astra rendering the full Hart and Dirksen Senate Office complex as a multi-agent simulation: every member of Congress and every publicly known staffer is an agent going about their day inside a "synthetic Congress," with activity spilling across the "street" to the Cannon building. The demo highlights the model's long-horizon agent orchestration and role consistency, extending Hwang's line of agent-based social simulation experiments.
