exe.dev turns VMs into agent workbenches: SSH in with a built-in LLM that fixes your server

exe.dev, gaining traction among developers, sells pools of CPU/RAM/disk from which you spin up persistent VMs — SSH in as root with apt and systemd, private by default and shareable via IAM, API-first.
The standout feature: each box ships with an LLM that can access the machine, so you can ask things like "how secure is this VM from the public?" and have it fixed automatically. It also includes Shelley, a coding agent for building apps on the box — Filippo Valsorda says he vibecoded a FIPS 140 validation backoffice with Opus 4.5 without reading the code. Users praise the phone-based remote dev experience.
