Dev ships dotmd, an Obsidian-style Markdown editor for VS Code/Cursor aimed at agents.md workflows

Developer maxdrake released dotmd, a command-palette-launchable, Obsidian-like Markdown editor extension for VS Code and Cursor.

Motivation: with skills, subagents, and agents.md workflows, he spends most of his time writing markdown files and disliked existing in-IDE options.

Features on by default: source/live preview/reading modes, pasting links onto selected text, auto-wrapping selections with backticks, quotes, brackets, and syntax highlighting for common languages.

Install: available on Open VSX (direct from Cursor's extension store), or download the .vsix for manual install in VS Code. Invoke via shift cmd p → dotmd → enter.
