AI by Hand launches Yantra Jnana Award for teaching AI in Indian languages

Prof. Tom Yeh announced the Yantra Jnana Award (Sanskrit for "Machine Knowledge", named via Prof. Narendra Karamangala) on India's Teachers' Day, recognizing extraordinary work teaching AI by hand in Indian languages without expensive technology.
Entrants record a video of teaching AI by hand in one of 8 initial languages: Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. These have the most native speakers; more languages will be covered in future rounds if well received.
