DuckbillStudio tested LichtFeld Studio's new Background Improvements and Exposure correction features by reconstructing Yokosuka port—and the USS Zumwalt-class destroyer Michael Monsoor—in 3D Gaussian Splatting from 1,300 photos shot at 300mm telephoto and 28mm wide angle. The result showcases the quality gains from the two new tools in real-world large-scale scene capture.
