One prompt, a full 3D game: Codex + Blender MCP has agent modeling every asset itself
Singularitarian · x · 2026-09-05
Developer anshuc shared a minimal workflow: connect Codex to Blender MCP, paste a game concept, then have the agent use Codex's image-gen skill to produce concept art of the target style and iterate modeling until in-game screenshots (running at 60fps) match that art, with high reasoning enabled.
The resulting agent, Astra, modeled every asset in Blender and generated textures via image gen, closely reproducing the concept: a "sad but beautiful dystopian theme with a voxel-ish art style and physical-feeling lighting." The author notes the prompt was nothing special and no external assets were used.
