GPU compute indexes diverge wildly: H100 prices range from $1.34 to $3.41 per hour
AccBalanced · x · 2026-09-05
The proliferation of GPU compute indexes—each condensing many H100 rental quotes into one number—has produced dramatically different values. For H100s on Sept 3–4:
- FastGPU: $1.34/hr
- GetDeploying (cheapest confirmed in stock): $1.73/hr
- Silicon Data: $2.66/hr
- Ornn: $2.92/hr
- CF Benchmarks: $3.19/hr
- GetDeploying (median across 53 providers): $3.41/hr
That's a 2.5x spread for prices all labeled "H100," though none is necessarily wrong: FastGPU's figure is the cheapest live listing it found, while GetDeploying's $1.73 only counts machines confirmed in stock. As compute trading grows, index methodology matters.
