Will Depue (early OpenAI) says the industry has essentially invented "microwavable sand" for cybersecurity — within months, anyone with $10k of compute and an open cyber model could cause real chaos.
Nathanpm Young pushed back, asking why offence should beat defence for the targets people actually want to attack.
