Swarms v15 rebuilds multi-agent execution with 10+ MCP tutorials
KyeGomezB · x · 2026-09-05
Swarms released v15 (codename Akira), a major rebuild focused on more efficient and reliable multi-agent execution.
- Dynamic tool loading: tools are searched and loaded only when needed
- Autonomous agent harness: structured transcripts, mutable plans, better execution
- 16 built-in tools: files, shell, grep, sub-agents, control flow
- MCP 2.x: expanded support and improved execution
Alongside the release, 10+ new tutorials show MCP integrations with DeepWiki, Exa, Firecrawl, Hugging Face, and Semgrep — no custom tool wrappers or HTTP glue — covering repo Q&A, web scraping, security analysis, and multi-server agent workflows, all with runnable examples.
