- Organizer sathvikr announces the world's first AI math hackathon, run with Anthropic and OpenAI: 40 hours, $2M in compute, to solve, understand, and present an open problem. Applications are live.
- Co-organizer Brianbfz frames the goal as promoting responsible AI use in math rather than advancing math itself: all chat histories will be open-sourced, understanding assessed via oral presentations, and the judging process designed with mathematicians including Elliot Glazer and Tony Yue YU. AI generates the proofs; humans verify and understand them.
