OpenAI and Cerebral Valley are hosting a GPT-6 Astra hackathon in New York on Sep 10, for developers, technical founders, and startup teams.
- Prizes: $50K in credits + DevDay 2026 tickets for 1st place, $25K for 2nd, $15K for 3rd, and a year of ChatGPT Pro for all finalists; winners demo onstage before judges.
- Rules: all work must be built during the event and submitted as a public open-source repo (existing product code doesn't qualify); teams of up to four, application required, in-person only with limited capacity.
