AMD unveils liquid-cooled Threadripper Halo Station that can run trillion-parameter models

AMD showed off the Threadripper Halo Station at IFA 2026, dubbed a 'personal supercomputer': a liquid-cooled workstation with a 96-core Threadripper PRO 9995WX, up to four Instinct MI350X accelerators, 576GB of HBM3E, 16 TB/s of memory bandwidth, and up to 2TB of DDR5 — a desktop that can hold a trillion-parameter model.
