Wayve co-founder Alex Kendall shared that autonomous rides powered by Wayve are now live on Uber in London, open to everyday riders — tech built in Britain and developed on London roads.
Uber frames the play as partnering with the best AV tech and pairing it with Uber's scale, distribution and operations; the company says it has 30+ AV partners globally and sees a hybrid future where AVs and human drivers coexist.
