Vercel closed 1,500 Next.js issues in a month with a closability agent
Vjeux · x · 2026-09-05
The result of MarcosHernanz's internship at Vercel: a closability agent built for vercel/next.js (with Claude and Eve) closed 1,500 issues in one month.
The workflow: (1) search for related existing work, (2) attempt to reproduce bugs across versions in a sandbox, (3) return context for human review. A rare public example of large-scale agent-driven issue triage on a major open-source repo.
