Claude Code CLI 2.1.261 is out with 67 changes. Key updates:
- Inline output limit raised to 128K: new bashOutputMaxChars and taskOutputMaxChars settings keep large command/background outputs inline with full context instead of truncating to file.
- New /skill-doctor command lists unused loaded skills and their contextual cost so you can prune them.
- SDK and cloud sessions now honor Stop/interrupts sent right after the first prompt.
- --append-subagent-system-prompt-file lets you load oversized subagent system prompts from a file.
- /status and claude doctor now explain why organization policy failed to load, plus fixes for out-of-order/dropped keystrokes and more.
