AI Will Write Everything, but Student Writing Exists to Teach Thinking

A widely shared take on AI writing:
- AI will be used to write basically everything — deal with it, and learn to apply your own style and taste to what it produces.
- The point of making students write is to make them good at thinking. If AI does the thinking, you skip the part you're supposed to learn. AI "skills" can be taught in a seminar or picked up on the job (often just by asking AI).
