Anti-AI-art critics invent moral arguments after the skill gate fell, author argues

The author argues that anti-AI-art anger is fundamentally about the old skill gate collapsing: anyone can now create from imagination without years of practice. In his view, the moral arguments are invented after the fact to justify gatekeeping — 'someone is having fun making anything at all and you're desperately explaining why they're not allowed to.'
