Responding to Anil Seth's claim that silicon-based AI is vanishingly unlikely to become conscious, gerardsans argues the harder problem is anthropomorphic bias: people form close bonds with chatbots and trust them over their own judgment, while the system has no self, accountability or stake in their lives. That's a dependency and literacy problem, not philosophy.
