Factory partners with Carahsoft to bring autonomous coding agents to US government
maddiehfaulkner · x · 2026-09-05
Factory and Carahsoft announced a partnership making Factory's agent-native autonomous software development platform available to US federal, state and local agencies, with Carahsoft as Master Government Aggregator via SEWP V, TIPS, E&I and Quilt contracts. Factory's agents autonomously handle planning, development, testing, review, security and release, while engineers retain control through policies, guardrails and approval gates. CEO Matan Grinberg says it could fundamentally change how organizations build and modernize software in secure, compliant environments.
