A widely shared developer rant lists what AI has "solved" (writing code) versus everything it hasn't: knowing what code to write, engineering, product design, requirements gathering, changing requirements, stakeholders, estimation meetings, naming things, cache invalidation, the staging environment, whatever DNS is doing, Jira, tickets "in progress" since 2023, ego-driven code review comments, timezones, dates, and the printer.
