Roland enters generative AI music with Melody Flip DAW plugin

Roland is entering generative AI music with Melody Flip, a DAW plugin offering around 250 genre-sorted "Palettes" of musical ideas. Users can generate melody, chord progressions, basslines, or drums from scratch, or feed in a reference track to build on its melodic ideas.
Unlike Suno or Udio, it doesn't produce finished songs with vocals and full arrangements — it's positioned as a creative assistant for musicians rather than a song generator.
