Turn_Trout · x · 2026-09-05
TurnTrout, an AI safety researcher who previously worked at Google DeepMind, publicly says that while at DeepMind he had to notice—at least privately—when Google acted irresponsibly, and he hopes OpenAI employees can likewise notice, at least privately, that what OpenAI is doing is irresponsible. "This is disturbing and not OK," he writes, linking to the specific incident without elaborating in the post itself.
