Open-source Semrush rival OpenSEO hits 16.9k GitHub stars, runs on $5/month Cloudflare stack
moeinteractive · x · 2026-09-05
OpenSEO, an open-source alternative to Semrush and Ahrefs, has reached 16.9k stars and 2.1k forks on GitHub.
- Developer bensenescu says the entire product runs on Cloudflare — Durable Objects, KV, R2, D1 and Cloudflare's Agent tooling — with Planetscale as the hosted database.
- Until very recently the whole infrastructure cost just $5/month, making it a showcase case for indie developers building SaaS on the cheap.
