Bloomberg reports DeepSeek plans the largest known Huawei chip cluster — 160,000 processors — for its gigawatt-scale Inner Mongolia data center. The Huawei 950DT chips, designed for decode inference and training, pair 144GB of memory with 4TB/s memory bandwidth and 2TB/s interconnect bandwidth. If completed, it would mark a landmark in China's homegrown compute push.
