A Reddit user reports a stark quality gap in Gemini Live: voice-selection demos sound crystal clear HD, but actual conversations come out compressed, muffled and tinny — like an old 64kbit landline call.
Tested identically on a Pixel 11 Pro XL and Galaxy S22+, ruling out the device. The open question is whether it's a current tech limit or a fixable pipeline choice.
