Skybridge 2.0 ships stateless MCP app framework rebuild with LLM-checked Evals beta

Skybridge, an open-source framework for building MCP apps, released v2, rebuilt to support the 2026-07-28 MCP spec that forces stateless MCP servers.

Key updates since v1: Skills over MCP, devtools preview mode to mock ChatGPT/Claude conversations, mixed-auth support, one-click deploy, broad OAuth provider support, and view-provided tools so the model can act inside the iframe.

V2 also ships a beta of Evals: end-to-end tests for MCP servers where you give a prompt plus assertions on which tools must be called, and an LLM engine verifies the behavior — the most-requested feature from enterprise users.
