Astra 3D scenes can be exported to the web via Gaussian Splatting with PlayCanvas
willeastcott · x · 2026-09-04
PlayCanvas founder Will Eastcott highlighted that scenes generated with Astra can be "exported" to the web using Gaussian Splatting, with PlayCanvas offering best-in-class performance and quality — including an interactive walkable scene running in the browser. This builds on Dimillian's workflow of building a demo house with Astra and turning a Blender scene into a walkable Unreal Engine 5 experience.
