OmniCam brings Blender-like 3D camera control to AI video workflows in ComfyUI
Main_Creme9190 · reddit · 2026-09-04
Developer MajoorWaldi released OmniCam, a ComfyUI custom node that brings real cinematic/VFX-style camera control directly into ComfyUI instead of relying on prompts or third-party apps — a self-described 'mini Blender'.
- Three core modules:
- Extractor: recovers camera motion from video;
- Director: animates and edits cameras in a 3D viewport;
- Monitor: converts motion for different video models.
- Why it matters: It gives AI video generation true camera-style shot control, covering the full extract → direct → adapt pipeline.
- Installable via Manager or git clone; still experimental with feedback welcome. Open source on GitHub: ComfyUI-Majoor-OmniCam.
