Causal power isn't enough for the intentional stance — predictive leverage is what matters

Millière wraps up the exchange: a hurricane also has causal powers, so that's not sufficient for the intentional stance and has nothing to do with LLMs as such (Dennett's paradigmatic example was chess-playing computers). What matters for the stance is its predictive leverage.
