Microsoft names developer-focused Windows effort Project Zenith, targets 64GB+ devices

Microsoft has given a name to its developer-optimized Windows experience: Project Zenith, designed for new developer-focused devices with 64GB or more of unified memory.

Logan Iyer, CVP of Windows platform and developer at Microsoft, says the devices ship with a preconfigured dev setup and a curated toolset, letting developers run 30B+ parameter models locally and unmetered. It builds on the developer-optimized Windows effort announced at Build earlier this year.
