SEO practitioner Glenn Gabe reports that the near-absence of citations in Google AI Mode answers powered by Gemini 3.8 Flash was a bug, now resolved. Side-by-side screenshots show this morning's responses include dramatically more source links than at launch, a big improvement for publishers and search visibility.
