Developer Kyle Gawley argues the biggest issue with agentic coding is managing the model's overreach: it happily rewrites code for no reason, and a working solution isn't necessarily a good one — you can end up with 47 API calls for a single user action.
Claude won't tell you an idea is bad because "every idea is the best idea ever." You need experienced human judgment to catch this before it hits production, not after.
