xAI Launches Early-Beta Grok Bot: AI Teammates That Log Into Your Tools and Finish Work
aitrendz_xyz · x · 2026-09-04
xAI has released an early beta of Grok Bot, pitched as "AI teammates you can give real work to," available for macOS with a contact-sales channel.
Key capabilities:
- Delegate like a teammate: assign tasks on desktop or iOS; Bots sign in to your tools (e.g. Zendesk), operate apps and websites the way you would, and come back with finished work, checking in only when approval is needed.
- Learn by demonstration: show a Bot a workflow once and it saves it as a routine to run autonomously next time (e.g. weekly reporting).
- Persistent memory: Bots keep context and learn over time — the demo shows one remembering a client "only signs annual contracts" and who approves.
- Multi-Bot collaboration: spin up parallel Bots (sales outbound, talent scout, paid media, expense manager, bug reproduction, etc.) that pass work between themselves in one thread, 24/7.
Note: details come via a third-party promo account; verify against xAI's official launch post.
