Bitcoin Miner Ditches Site for AI Deal That Could Top $1.2 Billion

A bitcoin mining company is abandoning its mining site in favor of an AI-related deal that could be worth more than $1.2 billion.
The move is another example of miners pivoting to AI infrastructure: existing power capacity and sites are highly attractive for AI data centers, offering miners better returns than crypto mining.
