GitHub Copilot CLI v1.0.83-5 adds live session status cards in the Windows 11 taskbar. On macOS and Linux, sandboxed commands can no longer reach local services (macOS even blocks servers the command itself starts on 127.0.0.1; re-enable via Allow local network in /sandbox). Linux sandboxing now requires slirp4netns, nsenter, and iptables tools on PATH. Fixes include session-lock freezes, Kerberos proxy reconnects, gh auth as the repo-configured account, and MCP tools surviving server restarts.
