Intelligence Factory (IFM) has introduced K2 Horizon, a fleet of six foundation models ranging from 0.9B to 375B parameters. The series targets coding and agentic workloads, with the 0.9B, 3.7B, and 7B variants claiming new state of the art at their respective sizes. IFM calls it the largest fully open-source model launch in AI history, releasing code, training data, and recipes. CMU professor Graham Neubig praised the release, noting it may have rough edges at first but is a great resource for studying training dynamics and interpretability.
