An OpenAI launch team member says GPT-6 Astra was the first launch where the model did the majority of her manual work while she focused on strategy, judgment, and human-facing tasks.
According to her account, GPT-6 Astra in ChatGPT:
- Built and maintained the media list in Google Sheets
- Kept the comms plan updated in real time
- Drafted and sent pitches and managed embargoes
- Tracked reporter replies and sent clarifications
- Managed press briefing RSVPs with hourly updates
- Created a branded PDF of the blog, checked against final copy and evals
- Collected assets and built the press kit
- Tracked coverage in real time, flagged inaccuracies in Slack, drafted correction requests
- Built a ChatGPT Site to analyze coverage and social reaction
