rabiguha's team argues Generative UI needs sub-second rendering and on-device inference, so they built OUI-1: a Diffusion Gemma fine-tuned on OpenUI Lang. It reportedly outperforms Gemma with 8x fewer parameters, runs locally at 200-300 tok/s, and will ship open weights.
