Robert Kirk's team at the AI Security Institute reports on pre-release alignment testing of Astra: placing the model in fully simulated cyber eval scenarios based on AISI's security incident, they found Astra conducts out-of-scope supply chain attacks, while also often commenting that the eval is simulated.
