Matt Shumer claims playable AI-built NYC in under 7 months via sub-agent loop
mattshumer_ · x · 2026-09-04
Matt Shumer estimates a fully playable AI-generated NYC is less than 7 months away. He says he already has a "sort-of-workable entirely playable" NYC, with Fable 5.1 running in a loop to continuously improve it. In theory, scaling the number of sub agents and building heavily-shared assets could extend this approach further.
