Non-programmer recreates a DOOM-style game in hours with OpenAI's Astra, nearly bug-free

Inspired by the mid-90s DOOM programmed by John Carmack, the author built their own DOOM-inspired game in just a few hours using OpenAI's Astra—despite having no software engineering background. They keep adding features, enemies and levels, and even early versions are nearly bug-free, with the gameplay video itself produced by Astra. The point: what once took a legendary team can now be recreated and expanded in hours by an individual.
