One of OpenAI's computer-use demos for GPT-6-Astra has the model fill out a Form 1040, but a Redditor found two problems: the form isn't the official IRS PDF but an apparently AI-generated HTML rendering on a local server, and the tax figure is wrong — $36,700 taxable income requires $4,169 per IRS tax tables, not the $4,165.50 Astra computed using marginal rate formulas. The poster, an AI proponent, argues a model that skips basic output validation hardly qualifies as AGI.
