Per The Information, Mira Murati's Thinking Machines is negotiating to raise at least $1B at a $40B pre-money valuation, with Accel in talks to lead and NVIDIA considering participating. The valuation is below the $50B+ sought late last year when the company discussed raising $4B-$5B. Less than two years old, the startup already generates hundreds of millions in annualized revenue following its July launch of the Inkling model.
