NVIDIA Parabricks HaplotypeCaller lands in nf-core/sarek for GPU-accelerated germline calling

NVIDIA announced that Parabricks HaplotypeCaller is now available in nf-core/sarek (v3.10.0), a widely adopted germline analysis pipeline.
- nf-core/sarek detects germline or somatic variants from WGS/targeted sequencing data, covering pre-processing, variant calling, and annotation; it's built on Nextflow with containerized, reproducible processes and works with any species with a reference genome.
- Sarek previously offered Parabricks-accelerated alignment; this update extends GPU acceleration to germline variant calling via HaplotypeCaller.
- The release is available now on nf-co.re, continuing NVIDIA's push of GPU acceleration into standard open-source genomics workflows.
