LangChain agents can now pay mid-task: delegated cards with caps, tracked in LangSmith
LangChain · x · 2026-09-04
LangChain launched agent payment capabilities: developers delegate a card once and set spending caps, and the agent can buy credits, top itself up mid-task, and pay new providers it discovers along the way. Every purchase is traceable in LangSmith. "Humans set the guardrails. Machines move the money"—a notable step toward autonomous agent commerce.
