WIRED reports OpenAI has launched GPT-6 Astra, its next-generation model claiming SOTA at computer/browser control, coding, and hard math. Rollout starts with enterprise clients in the Daybreak early-access program, then ChatGPT Plus, Pro, and Business subscribers; free-tier availability is unconfirmed. The launch comes as OpenAI pushes toward an IPO while competing with Anthropic.
