The Information reports that Mira Murati's Thinking Machines Lab is in talks to raise at least $1B at a valuation of at least $40B pre-money. Accel is discussing leading the round, with Nvidia — already an investor and infrastructure partner — possibly participating. That would be at least 4x its roughly $10B pre-money seed valuation from 2025.
