OpenAI president Greg Brockman publicly called GPT-6 Astra a "generational leap" and said he personally believes OpenAI has reached AGI.
GPT-6-Astra was reportedly trained on over 100,000 GPUs at the Stargate site in Texas — one of the closest things to an official AGI declaration from OpenAI leadership to date.
